just wanted to let you know about something cool:
TredoSoft offers a free installer that installs IE 3, 4.01, 5.01, 5.6 and
6.0 additionally to your IE 7. I tested that and it works really fine.

Right now the server seems to be busy. If you can't get the package, I can
provide you at least with the installer for XP.
