Was thinking of creating an educational website that would be filled with
more than a hundred pages, several hundred images, dozens of flash
animations, hundreds of video clips, and MIGHT also include some QTVR type
features that would allow the visiter to pan and zoom in on images in
realtime, and maybe rotate 3D objects. I would eventually expect to receive
tens of thousands of page and video views a month. I have never created a
big site like this and was curious what sort of monthly server costs I'm
going to be getting myself into.

Is this something that a web hosting company like Godaddy could do, or am I
better purchasing my own server?

Any input, thoughts, suggestions, caveats would be appreciated.
