Lately - I have been using the embed media tag to add quicktime .mov movies
- it seems to be very simple and work fine.

In the past I was also successful using this for .wmv movie files also,
although now things seem more problematic.

I just tried this with Vista, & FireFox - and it said it could not find a
suitable plug-in for : text/plain.... Hmmm?

- On Vista and explorer - I had to activate Windows Media player and active
- X ( which was off for security reasons I guess) ...

Q: What's up with .wmv movie files? Have they become problematic? Is there
a better way to embed these in a web page?

EX:
<embed src="myfile.wmv" width="320" height="256" autostart="true"></embed>
