Hi guys and gals,

I posted a little while ago re this, but still haven't resolved the
problem. I can go into DWMX, edit the site, set up the remote
connection and test it successfully, I can even come out of edit sites
and connect to and view the files on the remote server and then either
with remote or local view go back into edit sites and attempt to set up
Contribute. At this point I get the following error:

Dreamweaver could not connect to the remote server. You cannot perform
Contribute Administration tasks without a connection to a remote server.
Please fix the remote connection before continuing.

Yet as soon as I've clicked okay it refreshes its damned view of the
files on the remote server. I just don't get it!

And yep I've got the 6.1 update, and since it's a clean machine (I had
this same prob on my old machine (both Win XP - don't know if that's the
issue?)) I didn't have any extensions installed or even sites when I did
the upgrade. I did the upgrade first then set up my sites and
extensions and it still don't work.

Please can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to fix this? Do I
actually need Contribute on my machine too?? I've told clients this is
the way to go and now it seems for me and them it might not be!! ;-(
