Dear experts
I am a beginner with Dreamweaver/layers/behaviours etc, although I am quite comfortable with html hand coding. However, using Dreamweaver 4, I have been asked to redesign the company website, using frames (just one for the top navigation) and dropdown/flyout menus a la PVII. So, I bought Dreamweaver Magic and began merrily building the menus, which will drop down from the navigation bar in the top horizontal frame. As I was nearing completion, I began to wonder how the layers and menus would work dropping down over the body page from the top frame. So I tried it out, and lo and behold, it doesn't work at all. The top frame looks fine, but the dropdown menus are hidden behind the body page, and the links all open in the top frame. Is there a way to make it work, or do I need to make the top frame/navigation into a library item and just add it to each page via the template, therefore not having frames? How do I do that?
I would be very grateful for your help, as I know I have probably made some fundamental mistake, but I can't see anything in the book that covers this problem. If you have any criticisms of my design, I would also be interested in your comments.
