Thanks for the hint, it helped me narrow down what was going on.

Some of the products on the site return a CFmail form that was
generated using ColdFusion Studio. CF Studio created a piece of code,
enablecab="Yes". As soon as I removed that, the error message
disappeared. Normally I hand generate code for cfmail forms, but
decided to let the ColdFusion Studio pick the "best method". So much
for that.

As to why the error message only started appearing two days ago, I have
no idea. Kinda hard to believe that it's been appearing since the site
was updated in April.
