Re: Amazing Flash out there / and OT ( Canadians and electronics again )
It was "ok" but nothing spectacular. I would have been more impressed if it had stopped movie, lifted his head and spoke.
In a few years, he'll do that, but also take out private info out of your computer and call you by name, and say "hello Joe "
It's coming I"m sure. Anyway yeah was good for a lookie-see.
Btw, OT here, - on the topic of Ecost.com , that we talked about a few days ago, I am thinking of ordering a new Harman Cardon receiver for my home theatre, the new amp, that is on pre-order in Canada ( www.Futureshop.ca ) is $949.99 http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&dept=10&WLBS=fsweb9&sku_id=0665000FS10033324&catid=&newdeptid=10
I have found the same thing at ww.etronics.com - another U.S. merchant that Toronto's www.borderfree.com has a merchant ( client ) with duties, taxes, shipping, etc, this amp will come to my door in Canada for under $600 CANADIAN funds,
whereas if I buy it from Futureshop ( in Canada ) that same model will cost me : $1092.49
Anyway it doesn't take long to see that www.ecost.com and www.etronics.com and even www.cooking.com are Canadian friends in big ways.
Ok that's it for now, just thought I would share info I think is worth sharing.
( Borderfree.com and U.S. online merchants partner together to offer Canadians amazing savings on electronics, etc, you buy from the U.S. merchant's site, like www.ecost.com but when you click "buy" you click the buy button for Canadians, the info is then calculated in Canadian funds, and is done thru Toronto's Borderfree.com website, you get a total cost ( never ever any extra fees) and total costs reflects shipping, handling, which includes the duties for import to Canada, and it's delivered to your front door by Canada Post.
