Don't let the "2000" fool you, this is a new program, and it's amazing.
The software I told you about earlier that comes with the Maxtor drives is very expensive,
SecondCopy 2000, ( http://www.centered.com/ )
download a demo version of this that is fully functional but expires after 30 days here: http://www.centered.com/download.html
The program is VERY easy to use, but very powerful.
It's so easy, it's unbelievable. I love this and use it all the time Aziz, because all it does is this, it doesn't actually create a backup file, but rather..... creates a "second copy" which sits on another drive or whatever you want it, on the same drive in a new folder.....
all it does is makes a second copy, or mirror image of all your files.
You can have it setup so that you it will check the source folder, every few minutes, - if it detects a file has been updated or changed, or a new one appears, then it will automatically copy that new file or modified file to the second folder !
neat eh ! - it's amazily simple, but very powerful.
Try it out. It's great.
You can have as many folders as you want all setup in the program and it checks all folders for any new modifications / new files and then copies them over to your second folder ( your backup folder )
so in essence it's like you were just copying over files from one folder to another manually everytime you did modifications, ( which doing manually would be tiresome)
anyway check it out :-)
Can't say enough about this software.
