One of the exciting things about a 1.0 release is that it's very open to growth and change. After something gets 5 or 6 years of engineering into it then subsequent changes aren't as quick and dramatic, but for something new like Contribute, there's a lot of room to influence how it will grow and be useful.
I lost track in the conversation, but I'm assuming you're already familiar with Joseph Lowery's article today on co-branding Contribute 1.0: http://www.macromedia.com/desdev/contribute/articles/cobranding_contribute.html
The beta team provided a lot of ideas and reality checks, and now that it's out in the wider world there's a lot more we have to learn about how this tool will be used. Please do drop a note in the newsgroup about how you can see an opportunity for yourself in packaging up a total solution for your clients... that's useful feedback, thanks!
