Thanks. Fortunately, my losses weren't all that big, and as Stephanie says, you learn a great deal when doing tech review or tech editing (as long as the original authors are half-way decent). I feel sorry for many of the authors, who were not paid, and probably never will be, for books that are still on sale. Glasshaus was part of the Wrox empire, along with Friends of ED. So far, the liquidators have sold only the Wrox trademark, all the web domains its owned, and less than 10% of the titles in its catalogue. The computer book publishing industry, it seems, is overcrowded.
