I am more than willing to believe it if you do! You've already proven to be a goldmine to me. > > I suggest that you approach HTML the same way you've approached CSS, by

Another great html site-----I've already started using it to fix my "image" problem (no, not the personal image; the images in my site...the "personal image---well, it's jist tooo dang late fer that...) > > Start with My First Site, doing the exercises My First Page through > Basic > Web Design. OK...I'm pretty close to that---I just get conflibberjousted when I look at it as a whole trying to see what tiny thing I missed... > > Most important: experiement with different tags to see what they do. > Type > out some text, then try typing pairs of HTML tags like <b> </b> before > and > after the text, save, then open the page in your browser to see what > the tag > accomplished. > > Most HTML reference lists include hundreds of tags that you'll probably > never use. Although I love DW, I think it was a mistake buying it when I did. I bought it before even starting my site on the advice of a friend, very knowledgable---who I think did not understand precisely how much I DIDN'T know....
He's my webhost, and he's a freakin genius for php, etc...to him---html was just a piece of cake, made even easier by DW. I've told him to change his advice----learn html, THEN buy DW---but haven't checked recently to see if his info reflects that...
If you ever know someone needing a MUSIC - oriented site host----this is absolutely the best buy on the planet...it is ALL about the music---and he's constantly providing excellent new forms, logo/ad free things like calendars, guestbooks, streaming media, and he keeps on adding.
