Following on my last message:
Indeed, I just checked your sample page in Mozilla-based browsers on both Win (Mozilla 1.0.1) and Mac (Netscape 7).
On the Mac side, the text is half obscured by the forms boxes (pretty much like in the DW Mac design interface)
On the Windows side, the boxes are roughly the same width as you show in your IE XP screen shot, but they are all taller, so the submit button hangs out of the bottom of your color field.
In IE6 Win2000, the submit button breaks the color boundary at View>Text Size> Larger and above--and the fact that you don't have a background color on the page became glaringly obvious, as my default minty green page background color filled the page wherever there weren't graphics.
I'm not sure what the design-view window's elements are based on in DW PC, but on the Mac side, they have always seemed to be based on Netscape 4. In a way, this is a good thing, since Netscape 4 has historically always had the largest form elements--so you design around form elements at their largest.
Rather than ranting about the size differential, why not redesign your from layout to allow for a little flexibility. Why not put each form field and its descriptor in a separate horizontal div, then the descriptors will be in the proper position next to their form elements no matter what browser people are using.
