I'll have a few days soon though where I can help you in more depth if your deadline is not too soon. I checked the page you posted to the list though and the code from P7 is actually in there now so thats a start.
If I was you I would really start from scratch and make a new site and then a new blank page and save everything so the links all work. (If for no other reason this a a good way to work out what should happen when you ad a mm2 menu) ie clean the slate easier to work out whats going on.
Then I would add a new p7 menu and then use the modify dialogue
Only then when you hade everthing working eg number of buttons, roughly in position and choices about whether you want rollovers or not etc
Only THEN would I get into graphics. I did this by modifying the PNG file generated in that site in a folder called local files. Then keep exporting from fireworks and using the MM2 modify menu in DW to pick up the changed graphics.
Thia way the basic structure and code is down before you worry about appearance and if you make lots of small changes and check each time its much easier to find out what went wrong.
Hope this helps
