About a year ago I used http://www.firepages.com.au/ to obtain a
wonderful bundle consisting of PHP, MySQL and an Apache server. It
all installs in a snap on a Windows machine and is ready to go almost
immediately. I just checked, and the site is still there and seems to
be up to date, so you might investigate it for help.
