Nah... Capt. Picard shut my computer down long ago. :-)

I am not an Acid user. Emagic Logic 5 does everything I need from recording and editing, to arranging, post-processing, and mastering. Logic also has it's own bank of synths and samplers that I use quite a bit these days. Plus I also record in guitars, basses, and vocals on top of the MIDI and other audio arrangements. Logic also allows me to sync to digital movies which I can create soundtrack arrangements and sound effects at the precise point of the movie that I need.
As for Aziz's Q:

If anything, I started off with an 8-track digital deck that I now sync up to my PowerMac G4/500. My Mac handles all of my audio production and editing needs. Logic is my main program. All of my Synthesizer Editors/Librarians were developed by me (I haven't seen any available and it only took me 6 days to write it).
