This is more than ironic... it is rather funny (and I'm not saying this to be callous or so).
What good is protecting something that can't protect itself?
Again, it re-inforces the fact that nothing on the web itself is safe from copying.
Unless Remik has the legal guns in his back pocket and the will to fire the shots over this, it may be one of things that are written off to 'education'.
