I wanted to report on a FIX, praise God!, for the page slow down when editing longer text docs. I got help from "blu" on the Newsgroups: macromedia.dreamweaver
It seems the fix was to select "Faster Table Editing (Delayed update) in the General prefs. It seems to be that simple. I also turned off Haxies {Fruit Menu, Silk, and Default Folder for DW}. I'll turn them back on one by one to make sure they aren't also a factor. But it doesn't seem to be an extension problem in DW. It was also suggested to reduce the history steps to less than the default 50 by a good margin if needed.
