Re: This video escapes me. / amazing videos !(ink refilling)
I believe you overfilled your cartridges..... if you overfill, they tend to run.
I came across a super site with a LOT of refilling videos, - now eventhough the site wants you to buy their systems, all the videos work with any refill kit or bulk ink you buy, - the filling techniques are the same anywhere.
anyway some of the videos are pretty huge but worth the wait..... ( you must be on high speed though ) one of the videos is 86 megs. Anyway amazing and really gave me good insight to refilling.
http://www.kalvins.com/support/video.asp
My dad just bought a really El-Cheapo Epson C42ux at Futureshop, - $49.99 down from $69.99 ...... the black ink for it is a very small 10.5 ml cartridge...... he went through it in a week, as he's new to the net and prints out everything under the sun ,
Anyway the cartridge for the printer brand new for ONE was $26.99 at Staples.ca ....... I told him to hold off, did some searching for a few days, and then ordered from www.atlanticinkjet.com - and got him a combo-pac of 3 cartridges ( brand new ) for $33 ! ( oh and only 1 sales tax ! 7% )
Now..... I just ordered some bulk in, and I got him 3 refills for $18.95 ( it's actually one bottle of ink that is capable of filling 3 of his Epson cartridges ) ..... comes with needle, and all the stuff you need.
Now that's one darn good deal.... can't find anything like it anywhere in Canada, and I've done a lot of searching.
The more ink you buy, the price also drops nicely which is great :-)
Mark.
