Great to hear you sounding so happy. What excellent news that they are so conscious of web standards. That will look great on your C.V. I find it difficult to be a web standards advocate and work for an organisation whose website is a big mess, code-wise. It even had proprietary HotMetal Pro doctypes until I let my meddling little pinkies loose on it. You will love not only being able to do things right but being expected to, and supported in it too!
If you want to move house when your lease is up, it seems a perfect time to do it. Especially if you plan to buy - new starts all round. I love new experiences. I feel quite envious of my daughter (who is nearly 15) sometimes... took her to a careers expo on the weekend and wished it was me having the chance to make all my decisions again.
Now - Fox on the Run, eh. Hm. I had to hunt down (no pun intended) some lyrics because I wasn't sure if I remembered the right song. I still don't have a clue but the song isn't that flattering to Heather and myself really:
She took all the love that a poor boy could give her And left me to die like a fox Like a fox - like a fox - on the run
Hmmmmm. Is that how you see us? Or yourself? Hmmmmm. :-P
Hope your job is still going well!
Vicki. :-)
