Well that's good it's okay. I've had a problem with the clock on this G3 almost since I got it, but somehow, never bothered to do anything about it. When I originally looked at the page, I immediately checked the date/time and it was set at 12:01am on 01/01/04--obviously not correct but still not in 2039. I fixed it, restarted, but the calendar still showed the same year?? I dunno.
I guess I won't worry about it unless someone else sees it on their machine.
So that said, any ideas what might be causing the clock to be so screwed up? It's not like it's slowly losing minutes. I've had that happen on a PC when the battery is wearing down. I'm sure there is a rhyme and reason to it, but I haven't figured out a pattern to it--seems to be a bit hit and miss--not obviously consistent in the dates it "picks".
