So I got this to work, and it's quite elegant (the code that is) compared
to what it would take without css, now I want to center the whole thing...

I want to maintain the layout exactly as is, only center it... so I
thought, easy make all the absolute things relative, and put them all in a
fixed-size div with auto margins...

That did not work...

supposed to be centered, and everything else should be absolutely
positioned relative to that...

Seems like that isn't possible, what is?
