Dear Gurus

I have to design an website that will have the capability to search a
number of files (not the entire site or a datbase) for pertinent files
(particular auto dealerships)
The people at FatCow informed me that I just need a script, say from a
site called hotscripts.com. Well I looked and can't decide from the
plethora of scripts if any are appropriat.
Can anyone suggest a particular script for this purpose??? I do not
know anything like asp (which Fatcow doesn't support anyway).

And thanks Doug for your answer on index vs digest mode but I still
don't know which is less cumbersome.
