If you can put a search engine on your server then you can index it yourself. Another option, if you don't mind the results page having a search engine's logo at the top, is to use a "site:" argument in your search term to restrict the searching to a specific site.
Try this to see... go to Google, Yahoo, or other search engines which support site-specific search, and enter this term: site:macromedia.com impactful
You'll receive a bunch of press releases which use a word which doesn't really exist outside of marketers' groupspeak, but all of these will be from only the one site.
To use this in a button on your site, the basic plan is to capture the form input as a JavaScript variable and append it, escaped, to "http://www.google.com/search?q=" or whatever. (I've done it before but wouldn't want to risk off-the-cuff scripting here, so checking the web for examples would be better.)
